Hollywood's Total Disregard For The Destruction of Classic Muscle

We’ve all seen the typical Hollywood action flick with hot cars, big explosions, and hot cars in big explosions. With all of the classic cars being destroyed in Hollywood alone, we have to agree with CarDomain.com when they ask, “How many Dodge Chargers must die?” when referring to a recent movie trailer release.



With the new trailer to the upcoming movie, Drive Angry, it’s apparent that the main character played by Nicholas Cage, has the opportunity to destroy numerous vehicles while hunting down the killer of his daughter. While we see Broncos from the ‘90s and modern Expeditions on death row, it’s the numerous Dodge Chargers, Buick Rivieras, and classic Chevelles going up in flames that break our hearts.



Granted, the cars used are far from perfect. The bodies are in rough shape and the paint is flaking, but the thing Hollywood seems to miss is the fact that hundreds of hobbyists would kill to own one of these cars before they’re destroyed. Who will be the first to step up and create a vehicle rights’ campaign to protect the endangered species of classic cars?
