Yup, all 89PGT's were turbo and all 5spds. 2.2 SOHC Powered by a tiny ass turbo. If yours is peaking and holding 12lbs of boost you must have some work done to the PCM ---- beecaaauuuseee Ford implimented "safety" features to cut fuel if boost hits more than 11.8lbs or something like that.
Post up some pics of it! I sold mine to a guy over that way....

Oh, I never knew that, I will get picks up soon I promise. Yeah, there is some work done to it. I mean it definately spins tires through 1st 2nd and somewhat 3rd. Upgraded trans, and full exhaust! I'm pretty sure that my "winter beater" would SMOKE my Taurus!!

Yeah, mine would spin em in to 2nd.
Another nifty piece of info. In the late 80s/early 90s Ford & Mazda rated the power of those at the front wheels and not the flywheel 145hp/190tq is wheel power not flywheel power.

I'm pretty sure, or at least I hope that, it's making a little more power then that!

Well tonight I will be parking my SHO at my mom's, putting the trans in the Probe since we put new gears in it, and the tarp is going over the SHO. Its sad, very sad, BUT I can't wait to drive my first TURBO car for the winter/summer!
