Chris, saying hello!
Hi, im Chris. Im 18, i own a 02' Mustang. Its full of 3.8 liters of fury packed under the hood. As for power mods, right now she is all stock! Well, minus the CAI and a little nitrous. Other wise its stock. Why tell everyone i have nitrous you may ask?? Well, its not like the car is fast with spray anywho, so i really dont care who knows..haha. I live up in Marysville, ( 5 minutes from Port Huron), so if you guys ever come out here, youll see me! Also like to drive down to the city to see whats going on too! I love to race wether its street, or track! Mostly street cause its easyer...haha. Dont care that my car is slow, ill race your truck you pull your car with just to go out and race! Figued id join up over here cause it seems more 'racer oriented' i guess. So hopefully when i make it down to the city or whatever, i can catch some races, and if you guys ever need to know whats going on in P Town, maybe i can help you out too!
Anywho, here is the ride!!!
Here is what it looked like 5 months ago when i bought it..haha
.Chris

No, i wont give out times. Im just too big on the steets to let eveyone know....
Only jokeing! No, im not running 9's or anything and out there racing for cash so i dont mind sharing times. Although, i dont have times. The one time i took it to the track we got rained out before i even got to run the car! From what im hearing, the car stock does a 17.30ish. So on spray, if im VERY LUCKY, maybe a 16.50. Who knows. I will tell you i walked a 01 Gran Prix by a good 5 or 6 cars when i was spraying...(although, thats nothing to brag about). Id like to race a fully stock 99-04 Mustang GT and see how i do. I want to know how much ill get beat by...

Welcome Chris. Nice 6'er you got there. PLENTY of potential in that car. All it takes is $.

Do you know a Joe Bacarella that works for Ford?
edit: IF you're gonna mod that 6, get yourslelf an 8.8 . Ask SVT32VDOHC for one. I'm sure he will hook you up with a good price for one

Yes, Joe Bacarella would just happen to be my father. Although, i live up in Port Huron with my mom. I just talked to my dad. Im gonna say Jason from heat treat then eh? He said you park behind him sometimes....hahaha
He was just telling me how his Polaris would kill you ski doo....hahaha
As for my car, ive done TONS of research reguarding the motor, trans, and rear end. An 8.8 is the way to go. A 7.5 even with gears and a t lok still isnt that strong. So if i ever plan to go big in the future, an 8.8 is what i need. Also, i know everyone says "Dont swap it, just buy a gt or cobra" but i would love to swap out to a DOHC 4.6 next year. I cannot afford insurance on a GT or Cobra being 18. So, id still be under v6 insurance, with a very nice starting point as a motor....
.Chris.

That would be me. I park out there to keep idiots from scratching my shit up!
Tell you old man he has to actually go ride the Poo Poo to TRY and beat me. And, That woul NEVER happen anyway! Ask that ho if he put the 22s on his truck yet! He's had 5 weeks to do it and I expect to see them on there Monday morning
A 4.6 swap would be a cool but it will take a bit more than just tossing a engine and tranny in. You'll need the harness and Im pretty sure the gauge cluster too. 4v engines are hard to find and cost big $. You're better off going 2v then adding FI to it IMO. Would cost only a little more and would make more HP. The 8.8 is the only way to go. Or 9", but the 8.8 will bolt right in. I sold my stock 8.8 to a kid with a v6 from OH on Stangnet. Like I said, SVT32VDOHC can hook up up with Stang stuff. He's my bud too so I'll make sure he takes care of you or I'll pound him. He's got a 2v for you too.
What are your plans for Woodward?
