Nice car... I have always like those 60's cuda's..

I helped out building 2 of them. One for street and one for track.

6" s forward of the flywheel i think is the rule. Any line that passes in close proximity and is not protected by a frame rail or other significant structural part (ie. tubeing from roll cage) to the flywheel must be braided or must have a hard steel shielding.

I went to norwalk with my old car and they made me move the regulator off the firewall before even letting me pass tech.

I dont have a rule book handy but I'll try and find it and tell u what the section and rule code is.

on my truck the regulator is on the firewall up near the wiper cowl area. The tech leave me along because it is considered a second firewall for some reason. One is the driver compartment and the other is the windshield wiper box or what ever you want to call that area. Milan techs never say anything about it. I really guess it depends on your techs though.
