Exclamation Cardio...Dom, get in here.

I know that cardio, to a certain dgree, can, and often does burn muscle while burning fat. But I need to know a few things.

I lift heavy, hard, and intense, and I do ok when it comes to strength.

My cardio has also been pretty intense the past 3 weeks.
No less than 30 minutes total. 10 minutes on the treadmill at a 15 degree incline at 4mph, and then 20 minutes on the stairclimber, set at level 10.

I don't always monitor my heart rate while on the treadmill, (when I do it's at somewhere between 130-150) but I do when on the stairclimber. When on the stairclimber I keep my heart at 150-170...for the entire 20 minutes. By the time I am done I am beyong drenched in sweat.

Then I hit my full workout which is usually at LEAST a full hour worth of very intense heavy lifting.

I need to drop a lot of fat (as far as I am concerned)NOW, but am I doing too much?

^^ sorry so short I had a customer. Ok...well anyways...looks pretty good. I think you NEED to back down the intensity though on cardio.
I do cardio in the offseason 30 minutes on treadmill walking at 8degree incline at 2.7mph-3.0mph..
Enough to burn fat but KEEP muscle. TO MUCH cardio burns more muscle than fat.

OK...BUT you want to burn MORE FAT quicker...WELL THEN do this.
I use a "ramping" method. GET on the eliptical machine and do medium level to easy pace..get you heart rate to about 120-125...then SPEED up until you rate reaches 80 percent max HR...hold for 2 minutes at that rate then slow down...when your heart rate gets back to normal (usually 5 minutes)...REPEAT...
I do 5 cycles of this three times a week ( when I want to burn fat quick)and other times on treadmill at listed rate above.
