For those of you familiar with Windsor. (Detroit Skyline)
Where is a good place to gather a LOT of cars to take some nice Detroit skyline pictures? Before the Woodward Dream Cruise a bunch of us were palnning on running out there and taking a few nice shots. There will be all of the MPH Mustangs and a buch of Chitown Mustang guys who are coming down for WDC to hang out with us. Probably well over 20 cars. (just a guess) We were thinking of maybe a tall parking garage, or a ground level street that would allow us to park for a a while and get some nice pix taken. Any ideas? (maybe even some Downtown Detroit shots might be cool) Please try to post up general locations and/or directions to the locations you recommend. Thanks.
Oh, and to those of you who would like to join in this, let me know. I took this Saturday off of the Beach Grill, so we'll be doing dome driving, scoping out some sites for the photo shoot, and hopefully hanging out later that evening. We'll probably also be taking some nice pix this weekend during the search. Shine up yo rides, nukkas.

Look fucker, I know where you hang out and at any moment I could do a back flip from the sky and kill you without you knowing I was ever there. I'd shut the fuck up if I were you.

In front of the Radisson is nice. You get the park in the background, the river and the skyline perfect... If you can find somewhere to park without getting in trouble.

Nice idea, but my car will never be down in Detroit. I work here.....in the safe part....and I still see how F'd up it is in the middle of the day. No thanks.
Me afraid.
Hey, if you want the same affect just line up a bunch of out-houses along a ditch and you will have your own version of Detroit and the river front.

Are you really going to let a few fuckin douche bags, and the slight threat of danger keep you from hanging out and enjoying your car and the area you live in? I hope not, bro. Grow a pair and bring a bat. You'll be fine. If we do get confronted all I have to do is throw some Eminem or 50 Cent in the DVD player, turn the volume up, and we can have a dance off with the hoodlems. I'll bust a fuckin move!!

Classic. I was messin.
Honestly though, no, the Cobra won't be going to D-town. Many other much nicer places to take a cruise. Roads are for shit down there and construction everywhere. Good chance of coming home with a dented rim or body panel and a couple of chips in the windshield.
I'd rather take a cruise out to Stoney or out to Algonac along the channel.
My Saab has already taken a beating from 1.5 years of driving in Detroit.

GOOD! I'll be fuckin damned if I'm not going to go somewhere or do something because some fuckin asshole(s) think that they can do what they want, to who they want because it's their "set" or "turf." FUCK THEM!!

Wouldnt get me down there. Been there done that and was stopped by a cop for no reason at all.
Cop: You ran that stop sign.
Me: No, I came to a complete stop because I saw you.
Cop: You were speeding down this street
Me: No, I was doing no more than 20 because I saw you
Cop: What exactly are you doing in this neighborhood
Me: I work at the mental hospital around the corner
Cop: Oh ok, have a great day.
Incident #2, sitting at an intersection and some ass in a Monte stops dead, looks at me and proceeds to do doughnuts right in front of me.
Cobra never went downtown again after that.
