My Rides
I was out tonight and met a few guys, but the story is, I just moved to the area from Nebraska having been transferred up here by my employer. So if you see either one of these rides, standing out mostly due to the Nebraska tags, come say hi. My name is Brad. I saw the site on the window of a blue 96-8 Mustang and then also later on Darrel with the silver Maurader's shirt.
My 2004 Lightning (100% stock other than the taillights being changed out):

And some auto x drift action:

Hey Brad, I met you on Wooward Friday night. I was in the silver Marauder. Nice rides you got. I will see out there again. Free advertising on that shirt. BTW, Brad I sent you a PM.

It does handle real well, too bad it added a bunch of weight doing it. 1 3/8" sway bars aren't light. Subframe connectors and a few other suspension braces don't really help the weight of a car that starts out pretty heavy either.

very nice cars. I seen you run it last night and man did it get up and go. Is the t-bird an auto or 5 speed?

It's an auto, for now anyway. The tranny is the worst year for the 4R70W and it is somehow still alive after 155,000 miles. When it dies a 5 speed will go in. I have the j-mod done to it, which if you have ever messed with anything with a 4R70W you've probably heard of. Its set up to shift as hard as it can with the j-mod and then back when fordchip was going they tuned it, Jerry asked me how hard I wanted it to shift, I said, as hard as possible. The 4.10's magnify the shift's shock to the tires a little too. With the Falken's that are on there now it has a pretty audible chirp on the 1-2 shift most of the time if its aboe 3000 RPM even at part throttle. It would spin the Goodyear's I had before on the shift but they were a lot quieter. Before that I had some BFG Radial T/A's on there with some other wheels, every shift was a burnout, those tires sucked for traction.
