Default Seriously thinking about selling my car

Gotta get a few things finished onit like the fuel system, headers, exhaust and carpet, then its going to the curb. I feel like its worthless for me to have it sit most of the time, and not be able to drive it long distances... I'm gonna get out of the car hobby for a few years and focus on other things for a while..

Just thought I'd let you guys try and talk me out of it while you can .

Go take a pill and sleep on it. lol. you go thru this mood all the time, it'll pass, and them youll be looking for a replacement. How many cars did you go thru before you found this one(4 eye, solid southern car). We can always work some kind of storage arangement if you just wanna park it for a while and not worry about it, but youre gonna have sellers remorse if you do.

I don't know the whole story, but no matter, if you put money into it and you sell it now you lose all that money plust some.

At least enjoy it for a few years (whenever you can) so you get your money's worth.

Don't do it. You'll just regret selling it and get another one! Then you'll do the same upgrades to that one. Just keep it.

Well let me put this a little more into perspective... I usually don't keep anything more than a year or so. I've had over 150 cars in the 18 years i've been driving, and the only car i wish i would have kept was my 88 Vette. So my plans call for getting another Vette in a few years. Maybe a 96, since I've always liked that year the best.

We'll see, i'm still pondering...

Hrm. When I get pissed with my car I just let it sit like Mike said above.

Although not having a motor in it has let it sit a little longer than expected

That car looks slick though man, very clean. I dont know if I would just get rid of it all of a sudden.

Yeah maybe I should sell mine instead of replacing the throw-out bearing.

Pull those lower control arms off before you sellit and give them to me. You can have my stocks with less than 8K on them.

Mike, don't sell it. The car looks pretty clean.

At this point in time, the Four-eyes are gonna start reversing their depreciation trend, clean 4-eyes are gonna start creeping up in price, Id finish the car, you should make some good money of it that way, if you decide to go ahead and sell. But youre right ,you never keep anything. How many different mustangs have you had.
