I just wonder if that coat hanger rod is going to handle all the power I am making with my new 4 cylinder....

Damn dude, that's quite a project you're tackling!! Cool shit!!

You may want to ask around about using an 8.8 for that though...I was gonna do ladder bars on my car and was told by a few people (including Skinny Kid) that it WILL rip the tubes from the center section eventually. Sooner than later if you hit it hard out of the hole. Skinny said they braced them as much as they could back in the day and they always broke.
Just food for thought before you go through a bunch of work with it.
