What coil over spring
What the best length spring and weight to use with a windsor in a notch. Driven more on the street but i really want it to leave hard at the track. Thanks.

Strange, AFCO and Qa1 stuff all work good. A double adjustable strut or shock is going to be your best buy as it gives you a wide array of set ups. Spring rate really should be determined by weight, have the front of the car weighed and the rear and get the correct spring rate. Length will depend on the brand and open/compressed height of shock/strut.

i have been using the 14" spring with a 130lb rate and have ad great results, and always strange struts if that helps.

I had 14" 130's on my 96 turd, I had to really crank the adjustment up to keep it from the low rider stance until I bought 170's. I am wondering if the spring manufacturer had something to do with it ?????

From what I've investigated 130 to 150 is for all out track only. It seams 175 is the sweet spot for driving on street and works at the track. I already have Lakewood 90/10 for the frt. Any input for the rear set up ?

14/175 front, stock 4 banger springs cut to length for the rears.

Is anybody running a rear coilover and if so what spring rate worked for you iam running strange adjustables and have a coilover but iam not using it cause the springs that came with it wont hold the car up its street driven as well.

Stock springs work best for the rear. You can get stock 5.0 springs and trim them to get the ideal stance you are looking for. I have bilstein with 14/175 on the front and rear stock springs.

I use a 115# rate rear coil spring for street/strip use in a 1992 GT Mustang, no problems. In the front I have 175# 14" coilover springs. Drag race only, I'd use 150#.
