Finished 8 out of 22...

Every once in a while some local peeps ask about a friend of mine who used to post on MM. (he used to go by KING_SNAKE) Recently he moved to Texas and (after about 3 years of having his Cobra in pieces) he now has it on the road and moving on it's own power.

Anyway, he is still training seriously and earlier week he took 8th out of 22 guys in his division. He competed at 6'1" and 256lbs. I saw him 2 days ago and he was at 275lbs.

:eek5: That's a 20lb gain in roughly 2 days...which is mostly waterweight. Kinda shows how dry these guys have to get themselves for a serious competition. Talk about dedication!! Here are 8 pix from said competition...

that kid has a good future!!!!!! if he stays focused he could put a dent in the national level.
i think he still needs to tighten up a little but man he looks good

Yeah, you can definitely see he was still holding some water and fat, but in previous competitions he was a lot leaner. He's a lifer and will go pro soon enough. I am sure of that!

Where is he holding fat and water at? I know nothing about body building, but I thought he looked pretty lean to me...

for state level he is right on....nationals, no. Once he tightens up...top 5 easy

And for the record, I KNOW I could never even get to where Steve is in these pix. I wasn't slamming him, I was just commenting on his physique for the show he was in.
