Alumminum vlave covers?
hey all...I finaly got my Holley valve covers i got off of ebay. nice find too. well anyway i was wondering what the best way to get them cleand up and polished would be? any place that does this around here? thanks for any help

have the valve covers ever been polished before or are they just taken out of the mold..for instance looks like a non polished aluminum intake? if they have been polished before just get some never dull or something like that and just go over them and they should turn out great but if they have never been polished u got alot of work ahead of you

If they have been painted, and you need to remove that, there is a place on Groesbeck and 15(or might be 16), called Strip-it, that does media blasting. Dont use sand, it will really etch the aluminum, and it will take you for ever to polish them.
