Which tires?
Well, my plans changed....sticking with my current power level for now.
So, I currently have 295/35/18 BFG DR's out back. Strictly for the street. I have different tires/wheels for track days.
As you know, BFG's don't last long. So, when these tires need replacing, which would you suggest? Wheel size is 18x9.5
A. Another set of 295/35/18 BFG DR's
B. A set of 305/35/18 Nitto DR
C. Other brand or size?

I'd do the 305-35-18 Nitto DR's.

Price difference is:
BFG $234 each
Nitto $277 each
Nitto lasts about 3x longer though.

Reason the Nitto's last longer is that they are a harder compound( dont stick as well), so if traction is a concern, I'd stick with the BFG's

Ive got 2 1/2 sets of rims/tires for my LX. Slicks and Front runners, a matched set of BFG's on Budniks for touring/trips, and a set of BFG DR's on matching Budniks for local cruising. I watch the different boards for people selling their DR's, the last 2 sets I bought(gotta have a backup) I paid $225 and $200 for brand new pairs. I'll probably get another set if I come accross that kind of price, might as well, I know I'll eventually use them.

Pfft, that's retail. Who the hell pays retail? When you need tires call me and I will send you to my guy at Discount Tire who's a Senior Manager...or another one of my guys who is a Manager at Belle Tire. Nitto's tend to have a bit more mark up in them, so, you might even pay LESS for the Nittos than you would thre BFG's. I'm in the same place as you right now, I want and need wider tires out back and I want DR's. I think that with a 10.5" wide wheel I can only go as big as 305 on my car. I have no fuckin idea why I thought 285-35-18 would be good enough or why I felt I need an all around tire for that car...I DON'T EVEN DRIVE IT IN THE DAMN RAIN!!!!!!!!!!
***HEAD WAS UP ASS ON THAT PURCHASE***
