We don't know how these guys were able to pull off this ridiculous stunt, but somehow these knuckleheads were able to wheel out some classic Bow Tie hardware and light 'em up in the middle of tourist-central Times Square in Manhattan, New York. Rolling in a light blue '70 Nova and a red '68 Camaro at 7:01am in the morning, watch as they load of their converters and light up a hazy blur through several intersections with only a few bystanders on the sidewalks. We always thought New York City was one of the most densely-populated cities in the world. Looks like there's still plenty of room - and not enough police officers - to keep good old muscle car horseplay at bay.
While we're definitely not a fan of the hip hop soundtrack accompanying these guys' shenanigans, and their technique at launching their own cars is suspect, we do have to give it up to the juxtaposition of cutting fat burnouts and hard launches in the single-most classic car-badgering city (besides, maybe tree-hugging, uber-liberal San Francisco) in the continental United States. Now, the video's relative production value and a couple key shots of what looks like a policeman blocking far-off traffic makes us think that this was no fly-by-night, illegal operation, we do have to laugh nonetheless.
