As the current Dodge Viper nears the end of its production run, some of the Chrysler workers involved are getting more than just a gold watch when the production line closes down tomorrow. According to the Ohio Lottery Commission, fourteen Chrysler paint shop workers share one of two winning tickets in a $97 million Powerball jackpot.

William Shanteau, of Curtice, OH, who purchased the winning ticket for the group, has previous history in the Ohio lotteries. In December, 2004, Shanteau won $100,000 on an Ohio Lottery's Season's Greeting instant game ticket. Somebody's got horseshoes!
If that coincidence isn't enough. a report from the Detroit News confirms that another lottery club at Chrysler has claimed a $36 million prize in the Mega Millions lottery. Five factory workers from Kalamazoo will split $23.3 million after state and federal taxes.
