Alternative Auto tune for 05 GT
Just got home after getting intake and Lidio's tune for 93 octane installed...
Wow is all I can say... it drives like a whole different car. First couple lights I stopped at I accidentally (yes, accidentally!) chirped the tires getting going cause I wasnt used to it.
Mine is an automatic, so this tune changed alot of smaller things to make a huge difference overall: immediate throttle response, firm shifting and plain more hp/tq. Oh, and it looks like a couple more MPG as well during normal driving.
All that and Lidio is about the nicest guy I have ever done business with.
I rate this day 5 out of 5 bananas!

From what Iv'e been reading, the two biggest things that make improvments with the 05's in a tune are the throttle response and firming up the auto shifts.
What did the car put down?

Yup, that and flowmaster mufflers, so no dyno test yet.
Incidentally, does anyone have ideas on how to justify to the wife, the cost of a blower...?

I told my wife, either the car gets blown everyday or I do. She said go buy the Vortech then.

Sad thing is, the first time I was going to put the Vortech on that's what I did, upgraded her wedding ring to platnum and a 1 karet diamond.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.....
