I wouldn't remove the sway bar for any kind of daily driven or even street driven vehicle. Sway bars reduce body roll. I'd do what strtracer said if your that worried about it. Usually if you have a half way decent suspension out back you don't really even need to disconnect the sway bar, especially in 13.0 sec. cars or even a 12 sec. car. I personally would rather stay clean and not crawl under my car at the track and learn how to pedal/drive the thing. Look at the chevelle video from last saturday that did a wheel stand, that's what happens without a sway bar.
