Compressors.....

I am going to be purchasing a new compressor come spring. My head is getting dizzy from all of the reading on the web. Who sprays at home (completes) and what brand of compressor are you using? How does it perform? How does it keep up with your DA and air files? And most important, how does it keep up with your gun when spraying?

Anyone use the kobalt 80 gallon 2 stage?

Buddy bought one over the winter , loves' it .It even keeps up with a sandblasting cabnet .Yes he was looking for this very kind also because of doing research on the internet / lowes sells this brand ,He found a new score off craigslist for cheap.

Its priced pretty fair from Lowes. About $1100. I have time so I an research it a little more, but I would live to find someone that sprays with it.

My dad bought a campbell housfeild 60 gallon standup from tractor supply about a year and a half ago $400 is their regular price on it, Never had to stop working once because of it.. Runs the DA great rearley even turns on when im spraying. I'd say it was the biggest bang for the buck compressor ever!

Thanks. I'll check it out. Have you spray a complete with it?

Hmm also looking for a compressor that can handle a blasting cabinet. I'll have to check out that one.

$$$$$$

I just picked up a craftsman professional 80 gal 2 stage stand up for $999.99 shipped then $150 for the extended 5 year in home warranty (I've had horrible luck with equipment lately)

Thank god for online coupons

I use this for sandblasting then use my 3 hp 15 gallon for my air supply for my powdercoating gun.
