THIS IS GONNA BE THE SHIT!!!!!

2010 ALL STREET CHALLENGE
DATE - JUNE 5TH 2010
PLACE - US 41 DRAGWAY , MOROCCO IND.
ENTRY FEE - $500 PER CAR , $ 15 PER CREW MEMBER , $15 SPECTATORS
BREAK DOWN -
Okay for those who haven't been following this its gonna be a no prep , no lights , no clocks , arm drop race.
the catch......
We are doing this on d.o.t. drag radials no larger than a 325 with ALL STREET cars...... they have to be registerd and plated and street legal as we are going on a 30 mile cruise prior to the hat draw and race
RULES -
Stock appearing cars, no full tube chassis cars , stock type frame rails from firewall forward. No all fiberglass cars unless they came from the factory this way ( ex. corvettes )
any style suspension goes , no wheelie bars
325 d.o.t. drag radial is max tire size but any size smaller d.o.t. drag radial is all fare game

REAL glass windshields
Drivers and passengers windows must go up and down
Must be registered plated and streel legal
Thats pretty much about it so if you can legally drive your car on the street and if you get pulled over your not gettting impounded for being illegal and you fit into the above said rules your all good

Tech will be checking for a valid registration and valid liscence plates wich match the car entering the race
Tech will be verifying the tires are a d.o.t. drag radial no larger than a 325
Tech will be verifying the car has stock style frame rails from the firewall forward
Tech will be verifying you have a REAL glass windshield
Tech will be verifying your drivers window and passengers window goes up and down
After the car is tech'd in a sticker will be placed over the hood/fender and rear quarter/trunk lid/hatch to seal.
You will be pulled into the staging lanes which will be sealed off with no popping of hoods , trunks, hatches, etc.....
When you bring your car to tech you MUST be ready to take the 30 mile cruise and then race immediately following the tour.
NO POPPING HOODS ETC.... ONCE YOU ARE IN STAGING LANES AFTER TECH

Gates open at NOON.
TECH and final registration open until 2:30
Drivers meeting at 2:30
CRUISE at 3 pm
30 mile tour right from staging lanes
NO PULLING OFF THE CRUISE FOR ANYTHING
If you have to pull over and stop you are out and mark it up as a loss
We will have a lead vehicle and a end vehicle and a police escort in front.
Once we return from the cruise we go right back into the staging lanes where at this point you can turn your car off but NO POPPING HOODS ETC...... NO
ADDING GAS ETC.....
We will then have the hat draw for first round.
Immediately after hat draw is finished you will proceed accordingly to the lanes paired up and we let it rip!
Arm drop , no lights, no clocks, no track prep except for your crew at starting line but not beyond.
Any car that drops out during the cruise will not go into the hat draw to eliminate a bunch of bye runs.
If your car wont start between the hat draw and your race you are out.
Pretty simple stuff
After the first round you can do anything you want to the car but must remain on the same tires
Add fuel Add nitrous etc...
Hat Draw between every round for pairings
Winner is going to take approximately 70% of pot
2nd place approximately 20% of pot
3rd and 4th each approximately 5 % each
I am going to half to deduct track fees and crew fees from top but shouldn't be much
if we get a 32 car field the winner will get @ 11k cash!
2nd place @ 3k cash!
3rd and 4th @ 500 cash each!
Anyone intersted shoot me an email to get on list and to be updated

I would LOVE to do something like this! I know I may not compete with the FAST guys but if I could somehow come up with $500, this would be a dream come true to me to be able to be apart of this!

Nope, 16 gallons should be good though. After the first race you can open the hood and stuff.
