Cat must die....have question.

Ok, so that cat is gone, done, out of here. She has pissed on the carpet for her last time. She freaked out ever since we've moved into this house 2 years ago.

The vet put her on prozac last year.....I said F-that. If I'm not on prozac, that can't doesn't need to be on prozac. So last night she peed on the carpet mat in front of the front door right in front of me. I went nuts and almost killed that f'in cat.

So the wife agreed it's time to get ride of the cat. Who knows what to do now?
Human Society? Do you just drop the cat off in a box and drive away? Seriously, what is the next step? I want this cat gone by the weekend.

Please help. I would just put her outside but she would find her way back I'm sure...plus she has no front claws and wouldn't be able to defend herself.

Bring her to the Humane Society. It's better than paying to put her to sleep.

Do you know what the steps are for dropping off a cat at the human society?
I'm looking for a website right now.

No idea. Find a number and call them.

More work than this cat is worth. I'll put her in a box and drop her off.
Done.

The cat has no front claws, and no way to protect herself in the wild. You're going to just drop her off at the humane society or just dump her off in the wild?

He stated in his previous post he wouldnt just throw her out on her own...read man..read

Strtracer 09-21-2005 11:05 AM

Just take it to the humane society when they are open, and drop her off. They will try to place her in a new home

Isn't there an HS office in Macomb county?
Website lists Detroit, Rochester, and Westland.

No, I'm a dick, but I couldn't just drop this cat off in the wild...to stupid.

Update: Cat is gone. Wife called crying saying she dropped the damn thing off. It peed again in front of her this time and she also had enough. Now we can get new carpeting in the living room and not have to worry about it.

I feel bad that my wife is upset but MAN AM I HAPPY THAT CAT IS GONE.
Ok Al, you can continue on with you usual posting.

Cats that piss like that usually have kidney problems. We lost two that way :(

99SVTAddict 09-21-2005 02:13 PM

She went to the vet twice thinking that was it....it wasn't.
Like I said, the cat went on prozac because the cat was just off....oh well.
My wife still has another cat that is totally normal.
